Nevada-based Golden Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN) recently announced the appointment of Mark Seligman (pictured) as the new general manager of its Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and Decatur properties.

According to a statement Monday from the gaming company formed in 2015 by the merger of Golden Gaming and Lakes Entertainment, Seligman has almost two decades experience in gaming operations and management, having previously overseen property for Warner Gaming and Stations Casinos, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur in Las Vegas has approximately 258 guestrooms, five restaurants, three bars/lounges and a 4,500 sq. ft. ballroom. The 56,800 square foot casino floor houses more than 1,100 ticket-in, ticket-out slots, video poker and video machines, 12 gaming tables offering blackjack, craps, roulette and pai gow, a two-table poker room, race and sportsbook and live keno lounge.

Arizona Charlie’s Boulder in Las Vegas has approximately 301 guestrooms, four restaurants and three bars/lounges and RV Park. The 35,000 square foot gaming floor features over 840 ticket-in, ticket-out slots and video poker machines, seven gaming tables offering blackjack, craps and pai gow, Vegas’ only 24-hour bingo room, which offers both traditional and electronic games; and a race and sportsbook.

Golden Entertainment’s $850 million acquisition of American Casino & Entertainment Properties that brought them the Stratosphere in October, also included both of the Arizona Charlie’s properties.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, gaming industry veteran and Arizona Charlie’s Decatur current General Manager, Ron Lurie, will stay on at the hotel-casino in his new role overseeing community relations and player development.
