iGaming Business – Tabcorp is looking at ways that the Australian gaming company could potentially offer live online betting services in retail venues.
Tabcorp chief executive David Attenborough told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper that the company plans to integrate digital offerings into more than 2,500 venues across New South Wales and Victoria.
The move is being made with retail betting figures having fallen for the company in both states.
In-play betting is currently only allowed via the telephone and in person in Australia, but the report said that Tabcorp might be able to provide the service through a venue’s licence.
