iGaming Business – Finnplay has announced the launch of daily fantasy sports operator FantasyBet through the Finnish iGaming platform’s BillFold platform.

FantasyBet is targeting the growth in live fantasy sports games across Europe ahead of the start of the new European football season.

Finnplay said that a combination of daily fantasy sports features such as ‘Flash Mode’, which gives fantasy managers only three minutes to set-up and submit teams, would add to the social gaming and in-play entertainment elements of the game.

“Season-long fantasy football has been popular for a number of years, but short-term fantasy sports and social gaming products that typically last for one match are growing in popularity globally,” Finnplay chief executive Martin Prantner said.
