British online gaming software developer Bede Gaming has signed a deal to begin offering some 20 virtual sports and numbers games from South African innovator Kiron Interactive via its own Play content aggregator platform.

Newcastle-Upon-Tyne-based Bede Gaming stated that the agreement will see its platform feature Kiron Interactive’s complete portfolio of virtual sports games including the developer’s horseracing and soccer titles as well as its greyhound and motor racing innovations.

Michael Brady, Chief Executive Officer for Bede Gaming, declared that virtual sports games sit ‘well between casino and sportsbetting’ before stating that this category of titles has ‘become an increasingly important gaming vertical in recent years’. He subsequently proclaimed that adding such games from Kiron Interactive ‘made sense’ as the firm’s offering is ‘among the strongest of its type in the industry’.

Bede Gaming explained that the virtual games from Johannesburg-based Kiron Interactive will soon be available to a host of its partners including Rank Group, which is responsible for a number of online gambling properties including Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos.

“Our operator partners will have access to world-class virtual sports games, which will significantly improve retention, cross-sell and engagement,” read a statement from Brady.

For his part, Steven Spartinos, Chief Executive Officer for Kiron Interactive, disclosed that that recent years have seen ‘many innovative operators’ sign similar partnership deals with Bede Gaming and that he was ‘excited to bring our games to new audiences’ because he knows these ‘will perform strongly’.
