In the United States and the Baltimore Ravens franchise of the National Football League (NFL) has announced the signing of a deal that has made the BetMGM sportsbetting service its first official gaming partner.
The Maryland-based team used an official Wednesday press release to detail that the multi-year arrangement is to see the pair collaborate to create co-branded promotions for gridiron football fans located across the region. The organization explained that the union is to moreover involve BetMGM’s brand being advertised across its digital and social media channels as well as via signage inside its 71,000-seat M&T Bank Stadium home.
Kevin Rochlitz serves as the Chief Sales Officer for the Baltimore Ravens and he used the press release to proclaim that the alliance is to furthermore give BetMGM access to a private hospitality suite within the 23-year-old M&T Bank Stadium and have its mobile sportsbetting app ‘feature Ravens-specific promotions and marketing campaigns.’

BetMGM was born via a July of 2018 partnership between American land-based casino operator MGM Resorts International and British iGaming behemoth Entain, which was formerly known as GVC Holdings, and already holds similar partnerships with a host of American professional sports organizations including the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos.
Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer for BetMGM, disclosed that his enterprise could soon be able to offer mobile-friendly sportsbetting services to punters located across Maryland following last month’s passage of legislation that made ‘The Old Line State’ the latest American jurisdiction to legalize online and land-based sports wagering. He went on to describe the Baltimore Ravens as ‘an incredible organization with a rich history’ and assert that he is ‘proud’ to now serve as its ‘first official partner in the gaming space’.

Las Vegas-headquartered MGM Resorts International is additionally responsible for the 308-room MGM National Harbor development, which is located approximately 42 miles from downtown Baltimore among the more rural environs of Prince George’s County. This facility’s Chief Operating Officer, Jorge Perez, used the press release to pronounce that BetMGM’s new partnership with the Baltimore Ravens will also permit his staff to provide fans of gridiron football ‘with new and innovative ways to experience the football season before, during and after games.’
