After recently serving as the official Digital Sponsor for this year’s edition of the Vienna International Gaming Expo, online casino and sportsbook platform developer, BtoBet, has announced that it now intends to expand its presence in Latin America.

According to an official press release published by boutique gaming event organizer, European Gaming Media and Events, BtoBet considers the Latin American iGaming market to be ‘up-and-coming’ and pointed to the imminent introduction of regulated online gambling in Peru as a positive portent of things to come.

The developer moreover stated that it considers Latin America to be a ‘key market with unique characteristics’ before declaring that it recently published a special report detailing why it believes the nation of Peru could soon grow to be at the forefront of this strategic iGaming region.

BtoBet, which has offices in Skopje, Rome, Malta and Belgrade, offers a standalone platform that allows iGaming operators to personalize their products for use via online, retail and mobile channels. Since the start of the year, the firm has inked supply deals with the likes of Kiron Interactive, Logrand Entertainment Group and BetSoft Gaming Limited while it used February’s gigantic ICE Totally Gaming extravaganza to showcase its new Neuron Gaming innovation as well as an array of technologies that combine human abilities with cutting-edge computer science.

“Given the upcoming sweeping legislation that is set to be introduced, Peru scales high on our agenda and with the region attracting interest from various operators, even on an international level, the time is ripe for BtoBet to enter such an interesting scenario,” read a Tuesday statement from Alessandro Fried (pictured), Chairman for BtoBet.

Finally, the platform developer detailed that its Latin America presence is already particularly strong in Mexico and Colombia but that it will now look to Peru as the nation of just over 32 million people is widely expected to pass legislation before the end of the year that will introduce regulated online gambling.
