In an effort to further strengthen its position in the Mexican gaming market, online gaming operator, Caliente Group (Groupo Caliente), has partnered with global gaming manufacturer, Euro Games Technology (EGT), to establish its first gambling lounge in Latin America.

The Madrid-headquartered company has a growing international presence and operates casinos which incorporate modern electronic gaming terminals, sports betting, bingo halls, live greyhound racing and horse racing simulcast. It is now responsible for the largest collection of gaming terminals in the country situated between the U.S. and Central America.

Multi-cabinet offering:

According to a news release…

The new gaming lounge is situated in the company’s Casino Hipódromo de Aguacaliente located in Tijuana, Mexico and will feature 33 slot cabinets and multiplayer terminals to be supplied by the Bulgarian firm [EGT]. Included in the offering are the Super Premier model, the P-24/24 Up and the P-27/27 St Slim slot cabinets.

Tijuana venue:

Located in the heart of Tijuana, just a 20-minute drive from downtown San Diego, California, the historic Casino Hipódromo de Aguacaliente, is strategically situated adjacent to the Agua Caliente Racetrack (Caliente Hipódromo) and the Caliente Stadium (Estadio Caliente), home to Tijuana’s professional soccer club, Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente or “Xolos.”

In addition to the racetrack, the casino features more than 1,100 electronic slots machines, a variety of live table games such as blackjack, poker, roulette and baccarat, along with a Las Vegas-style Race & Sports Book and the Mujeres Divinas Restaurant complete with full-service bar, private salon and terrace.
