Bulgarian game suppliers, Euro Games Technology (EGT), have recently announced another expansion over the Monaco market, once again thanks to a contract with state sponsored Societe de Bains de Mer (SBM), who run a number of Monte Carlo casinos, including the legendary Le Grand Casino de Monte Carlo . The new deal comes about a year after the game providers already supplied 18 machines to the SBM-owned Sun Casino and Café de Paris Casino and will see EGT re-stock those same venues with additional 24 multiplayer game stations and 42 slot machines.
Per the new agreement, the slot machines EGT is to provide the casino with will mostly come from the Premier series and include the p-27/32H and 27 St slim slot machines with multiple screens, both of which are part of the Lady’s Card jackpot prize pool, as well as games from the 4 Happy Hits and Fu Gui Rong Hua jackpot series. And apart from slots, EGT are also to provide the casinos with their multiplayer terminals, among which will be a fully automated Premier R8 Roulette game, which allows for up to 8 players at a time and can be customized to offer double or single zero Roulette.
But what’s more important than the features is that the entire order, apart from enriching the casinos’ game collection, is the biggest installation made by a game supplier in Monte Carlo thus far, and one that will make EGT a key player on the scene.
Societe de Bains de Mer, whose stakeholders include a number of high-profile companies, including Macau-based casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd., is also owned, in part, by the state of Monaco which holds 34% of its shares. The company is the main operator of casinos, hotels, bars, and clubs in the country, which gives EGT a clear shot at establishing their domination over Monaco gambling market.
