In Malta, crypto-currency innovator, CasinoCoin Foundation, has announced that it has named a former Regulatory Compliance Manager for International Game Technology (IGT), Antonio Zanghi, to serve as its inaugural Chief Compliance Officer.
Extensive experience:
CasinoCoin Foundation is the non-profit entity responsible for running the new blockchain-powered CasinoCoin crypto-currency and it used an official Tuesday press release to detail that Zanghi also managed to amass global compliance experience during spells with Yahoo! and Red Tiger Gaming Limited.
To ensure ‘peace of mind’:
John Caldwell, Advocacy Director for CasinoCoin, declared that Zanghi is the second former IGT employee to have recently joined its ranks following the March appointment of Ashish Tawakley as its Chief Commercial Officer with the newest hire now set to administer ‘a technical compliance solution’ that has been designed to provide ‘complete peace of mind’ to partner operators.
Caldwell’s statement read…
“Compliance has never been more critical in the gaming industry than it is today as we continue to see heavy fines levied on operators for infractions. This is why we are delighted to welcome Antonio to the team. His years of experience in this field at the likes of IGT, Yahoo! and Red Tiger Gaming Limited will prove invaluable as we build the most robust regulatory infrastructure in the sector.”
Going ‘above and beyond’:
Caldwell moreover stated that Zanghi’s appointment underlines his firm’s intention to utilize blockchain-powered technologies in order to introduce cutting-edge compliance solutions that are superior to those offered by more traditional fiat currencies.
Caldwell’s statement read…
“It has always been the aim of CasinoCoin Foundation to go above and beyond on the issue of compliance. Our single wallet solution will not only offer stronger protections and greater transparency to operators and regulators, but it will also simplify the on-boarding process for players.”
Raising expectations:
For his part, Zanghi proclaimed that he is ‘thrilled’ to be bringing his ‘many years’ of compliance expertise to CasinoCoin Foundation after being ‘so impressed by the ambition laid out by’ Caldwell and his team.
Zanghi’s statement read…
“By leveraging blockchain technology, it is possible to achieve things not before possible in the field. This is an utterly transformative approach to know-your-customer, anti-money laundering and responsible gaming that will raise the bar for what is expected of operators across the industry.”
