Casino owner Derek Stevens is ready to see his new sports betting brand grow to new heights. The brand is currently moving across Nevada and Stevens wants to see it expand to other areas in the US as well. Today, the brand moves into the Tuscany hotel-casino, an off-strip property. This installation will be the first Circa-branded satellite sportsbook.
The facility is the first Circa option located outside the properties owned by Stevens. Currently, Stevens owns and operates the Circa Casino, D Las Vegas, and the Golden Gate.
Along with opening at the Tuscany, Circa will launch a second sportsbook at The Pass in Henderson. This is a former Eldorado Casino location. The second location should open sometime in April. Stevens pointed out in a recent telephone interview that he is looking forward to growing the Circa Sports brand in other Nevada locations. He hopes to move into the northern region of the state at some point.
The goal is to shorten the drive of patrons by offering the Circa sports betting brand in areas across the state. The Henderson location meets this goal, and the off-strip Tuscany location provides easy parking for players to visit and place a quick bet.
Stevens says that he is speaking with several operators in different states to launch services. When looking at areas for a potential launch, Circa considers the regulatory environment along with market size, and tax rates.
Circa also offers online betting. The brand is currently online in Colorado and will launch later in the year in the state of Iowa. In Colorado, the brand is partnered with the Century Casino & Hotel Cripple Creek. The launch was the first time that Circa is operating outside the state in a mobile format.
The Circa Sports brand has come a long way since its inception in 2019. The sports betting services first launch in June of 2019, via the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. The launch was celebrated with a special contest and included both retail and mobile services.
Circa Sports offers players premium sports betting services including plenty of betting markets. The app is easy to use and is a top choice among players in Nevada. As the brand grows into other states, it is expected that it will be just as popular.
The brand caters to regular bettors as well as professionals. Unique to the brand, each sportsbook offers its own flair. Take The D for example. It prioritizes Golden Knights games. Each book will highlight options in its location to cater to the demographic.
