Canadian business-to-business daily fantasy sports software provider Global Daily Fantasy Sports Incorporated has announced the inking of a three-year agreement that is to see the iGaming platform from Omega Systems feature its innovations.

Omega Core addition:

The Vancouver-headquartered firm used an official Friday press release published by European Gaming Media and Events to detail that the arrangement that will see Omega Systems able to offer its licensees a fantasy sports product via its Omega Core platform.

Global Daily Fantasy Sports Incorporated explained that the Omega Core advance already offers firms the ability to run their own iGaming operation complete with content from over 140 third-party developers. It proclaimed that the addition of a daily fantasy sports component is due to see these clients given the ability to ‘acquire and engage customers’ that want to ‘compete with others’ by constructing a fantasy squad of actual professional sporting stars and ‘earn points based on the actual statistical performance of those athletes in real-world competitions’.

Innovator ‘delighted’ by partnership:

Darcy Krogh, Chief Executive Officer for Global Daily Fantasy Sports Incorporated, stated that he was ‘delighted to partner with Malta-based Omega Systems’ as the deal will allow his firm’s network and product ‘to extend to’ those licensing its software.

“We anticipate adding a number of its customers into our dot-com network in key markets who have shown an interest in daily fantasy sports. We are excited to work with Omega Systems and its clients to introduce them to the world of daily fantasy sports.”

Addition to ‘generate added value’ for clients:

For his part, Jim Godsell, Chief Executive Officer for Omega Systems, declared that his firm inked the deal with Global Daily Fantasy Sports Incorporated because it is continually seeking ‘innovations that will generate added value for our clients’ while simultaneously enriching the product portfolio already integrated onto its Omega Core advance.
