In May, the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania announced that a major renovation was to take place within the property. A total of $50 million would be spent on the expansion, with a new poker room, two restaurants and concert hall added. As a result of the expansion, the casino is in need of additional workers. This week, the casino will be hosting a job fair in order to hire over 200 new full-time employees for the property.

According to buckslocalnews.com, a job fair is scheduled for September 27th at Parx East from 8:30 am until 6:30 pm. The 200-plus new full-time jobs are reportedly needed in the area of table games dealers, cashiers, the entertainment department, valet parking, food and beverage, security and more.

With the addition the new positions, the casino will have over 2,500 employees, making the Pennsylvania casino one of the largest employers in the region. The casino is looking for individuals with experience, but will not overlook individuals without experience who have a quality personality and friendly demeanor.

Potential employees can attend the job fair this week to apply for one of the many positions within the company or choose to go online and apply at www.parxcasino.com/careers.
