Neil Bluhm is a developer who built some important Boston landmarks like Faneuil Hall and Copley Place. He has turned his sights on building casinos. The first project is in Brockton. Mass Gaming & Entertainment, the company behind the proposal was the only one of three to submit their applications to the Mass Gaming Commission on time in March – the other two have gained extensions.  The first images of the complex have been released, which will be $650 million in the making if they are the successful applicant for the final casino license in Massachusetts.

The building would have gabled roofs to match the beautiful brick veneer exterior. It would have a seven story hotel with an entertainment complex built next to it. The entertainment portion would not be as tall as the hotel, but would contain 240,000 square feet of gaming space. The location of the proposed complex is the old Brockton Fairgrounds.
