Leading sports betting and casino platform provider, Digitain, will debut its latest bespoke solutions for the African gaming market at the second edition of ICE Africa scheduled to take place October 2-3, 2019, at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The two-day event will see the provider showcase its sportsbook and casino platform at Stand 1001 at what has been described as the continent’s hottest show.

Digitain is fresh from its big win for “Best Sports Betting Innovation” at the CEEGC Awards on Tuesday 25th September at The Ritz-Carlton Budapest. The award follows an especially productive year for the Armenian provider, which has seen its global presence grow from Europe, through Asia and on to Africa.

…sales staff will be present at the event that will showcase the best products and services from the industry to advise delegates on its innovative strategies, products and trading tools which lead the field.
Rapid growth:
The provider’s team is to be spearheaded by Simon Westbury, Director of International Development, and Hmayak Arakelyan, Regional Director for Africa, who has headed the company’s swift expansion on the continent, having signed a myriad of agreements with African operators including Betpurse, Nigerian operator, Westernbet, and French design-build-operate technology company, Moobifun.
The Yerevan-headquartered company said in its press release that its modular platform allows it to provide “flexible functionality and features” to satisfy the unique challenges of the African market, inclduing an immersive range of “home-grown games,” creative engagement tools and USSD / SMS betting.
Substantial offering:
All totaled, the company’s sportsbook comprises 65 sports, taking in 7,500 leagues, and offering over 3,000 betting markets. It also provides odds on 35,000 live events each month, and its casino solution has 3,000-plus games from leading casino software suppliers such as Playson, NetEnt, Microgaming and Novomatic.

2019 accolades:
As mentioned, Digitain is coming off an impressive win at the Central and Eastern European Gaming Awards (CEEGC Awards), after being crowned the “Best Betting Product of the Year” at Moscow’s Russian Gaming Week Awards 2019 held on June 6. And in April this year was the recipient of the ‘Strongest Competitor’ at the 6th edition of the Big Africa Supershow and Awards in Johannesburg.
