iGaming Business – The Swedish Gaming Board has granted a licence to the non-profit Swedish Sports Alliance to launch a new digital lottery platform.

Klubblo, which is open to all sports federations and associations within the Alliance for Sport, will run on mobile and desktop computers and has been designed to boost funding for Swedish sport.

The new lottery will offer a range of scratchcards that can be played online or via a mobile device, while sports associations and federations can use the service create their own custom lottery tickets.

The deal to offer bespoke lottery products is part of a joint venture between media partner Metro, casino operator Cherry and online games developer Yggdrasil Gaming, which was first reported by iGaming Business last month.
