Online sportsbook operator DraftKings Incorporated has announced the signing of an agreement that is to see it become the official sportsbetting and iGaming partner for the National Hockey League (NHL) in the United States.

The Boston-headquartered firm used an official Wednesday press release to detail that the deal, which also covers daily fantasy sports, will allow it to enhance its customer experience initiatives via the use of NHL assets such as logos and trademarks. The American company stated that the agreement is to also see it run enhanced hockey-themed promotions and sweepstakes during regular season and playoff games and benefit from ‘a variety of content integrations’ across its latest partner’s collection of ‘digital and linear media platforms’.

DraftKings Incorporated explained that it has moreover boosted the new alliance by inking a separate relationship to serve as the exclusive sportsbook and daily fantasy sports provider for Turner Sports and this American television broadcaster’s BleacherReport.com service as they cover all of the action from the 32-team NHL.
