American online sportsbetting operator DraftKings Incorporated has hailed the signing of a ‘transformative’ deal that is to see it granted access to a plethora of data, content and fan engagement solutions from British innovator Genius Sports Group Limited.
The Boston-headquartered firm used an official press release to declare that the multi-year arrangement ‘signifies the international adoption of official sports data across the sports ecosystem’ and will include ‘a complete suite’ of products related to the United States’ popular National Football League (NFL).
DraftKings Incorporated proclaimed that it became one of three official sportsbetting partners of the NFL in April and that the new agreement will assist its efforts in providing millions of American football aficionados with ‘immersive and personalized live experiences.’ The operator disclosed that it is to now moreover gain access to real-time video feeds as well as official and proprietary data from Genius Sports Group Limited covering more than 170,000 annual events alongside a vast range of information, content and player acquisition and retention solutions.
