In Las Vegas, MGM Resorts International has announced that its Excalibur Hotel and Casino will soon debut the new Ultimate 4-D Experience attraction at its Fun Dungeon arcade after inking a deal with virtual reality pioneer SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment.
A 72-seat special effects theater created by Toronto-based SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, the Ultimate 4-D Experience is set to open at the property on the Las Vegas Strip from November 2 featuring a trio of multi-sensory shows encompassing the San Andreas 4-D Experience, The Lego Movie 4-D Experience and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – The 4-D Experience.
Sheri Cherubino, Chief Financial Officer for the Excalibur Hotel and Casino declared that she was ‘excited to expand our Fun Dungeon experience’ with the Ultimate 4-D Experience before stating that attraction would be a ‘great fit’ as it is set to appeal to ‘both families and adults’.
“At Excalibur [Hotel and Casino] we strive to keep our amenities fresh and fun for our guests,” said Cherubino.
Cherubino additionally revealed that the coming Ultimate 4-D Experience will be open for twelve hours from 10am daily with each of the 20-minute programs set to be shown every hour.
