The Red Rock Casino Hotel & Spa of Las Vegas, Nevada is preparing to host a special charity event this November, with top poker pros and celebrities in attendance. On November 3rd, the annual St. Jude Against All Odds Celebrity Poker tournament will kick off 8:30 pm, providing an evening of entertainment and poker, all to benefit a great cause.

The event will include a dinner, open bar, live auction and entertainment throughout the evening. The poker tournament of the evening will have a buy-in of $750 and will be a no-limit hold’em rebuy and add-on event. The tournament is set to begin in the evening hours, with 5,000 in starting chips provided to each player. Until the first break, late registration will be offered for those busy with other aspects of the evening.

Players can choose to rebuy if they drop below the 5,000 chip mark and will be provided 5,000 more for $300. The rebuy period will close at 9:45 pm and at that time, a one-time fee can be paid to add more chips to a player’s stack. $500 will give a player 10,000 in additional chips while $1,000 will offer 25,000 and $1,500 will provide 50,000 more chips.

According to PokerNews, players competing in the poker tournament will be vying for valuable prizes. The top finisher will of course earn bragging rights, but will also be provided a seat to the 2018 World Series of Poker Main Event. Second place will earn a Mexican Riviera Cruise for two with an ocean view balcony room for seven nights, valued at $2,500. Third place will be provided a two night stay at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in a one bedroom luxury suite with dinner provided by the T-Bones Chop House for two, a value of $1,500.

Everyone participating in the event will be donating their money to a good cause. St. Jude will use the proceeds from the event to help families that come to St. Jude for treatment will never receive a bill for what they need, be it housing, food, travel or treatment.
