Soon, Live! Casino & Hotel will be home to the state’s first and only outdoor gaming area. Orchid Gaming & Smoking Patio will feature slots and table games and offer Ticket In/Ticket Out (TITO) Tables. Also a first in the state, TITO Tables offer players the convenience of not having to make trips to the casino’s main cage to cash chips in. According to the Live! website, the outdoor gaming area is scheduled to open on May 1, 2018.

President of Live! Casino & Hotel, Rob Norton, said, “Orchid is the latest in the evolution of Live! Casino & Hotel, as we continually strive to create an environment that is engaging and welcoming for our guests,” according to the Odenton Patch.

“With Orchid, we are offering them visually stunning space to enjoy an extensive collection of cigars and spirits, while seamlessly moving between their favorite table games and slots,” said Norton.

Guests to Maryland’s one and only outdoor gaming area will choose from 12 live action gaming tables, featuring Baccarat, Blackjack, and Roulette, along with 28 electronic table positions, to include “Dealer Assist” Baccarat, Craps, Blackjack and Roulette. As a complement to the table games, upwards of 150 of the latest slot machines, along with Video Poker, ranging in denominations from $.01 to $10 will also be offered.

Barrel aged cocktails will be featured among an extensive collection of spirits at Orchid’s exclusive bar, where guests will enjoy lounge seating. Additionally, premium cigars that have been curated by Orchid’s very own cigar experts will be housed in specialty-built humidors within the bar. Interspersed throughout the gaming zones, visually stunning features representing the four elements; Earth, Air, Fire and Water will be on display.

The Maryland venue’s new $200 million, 17-story flagship Live! Hotel will also be opening this year. Located directly adjacent to Live! Casino & Hotel, the new digs will feature a host of amenities including 310 guestrooms, including 52 Suites, Grand Event Center, 1,500-seat concert venue, restaurants, gelato bar, spa with fitness center, retail store, additional parking and more.
