Although there is still nearly six months to go until the next edition the annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia kicks off in Macau, event organizers have reportedly announced that more than 90% of the three-day event’s exhibition space has already been allocated.
According to a report from GGRAsia citing a joint statement from organizers Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association, G2E Asia 2018 is set to take place at The Venetian Macao from May 15 to 17 showcasing the very latest services, products and technologies while providing attendees with ‘an optimal atmosphere to network, conduct business, make new connections and learn the latest and upcoming global industry trends’.
In promoting the benefits of attending G2E Asia 2018, Millie Chiang from gaming machine and systems manufacturer Jumbo Technology Company Limited reportedly declared that the event had ‘played an integral role’ in helping her Taiwanese firm to develop its business.
“We’ve been exhibiting for eleven years,” read a statement from Chiang. “The event provides unparalleled exposure to a wealth of information and networking opportunities. We’re proud to have expanded alongside such a spectacular event and [are] expecting another great show in 2018.”
GGRAsia reported that this year’s edition of G2E Asia, which ran from May 16 to 18, welcomed nearly 13,000 visitors from some 84 countries and regions to check out the latest and most popular innovations from more than 190 firms spread across a record-setting 301,389 sq ft of exhibition space.
Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer for Reed Exhibitions Greater China, reportedly stated that G2E Asia 2018 is almost sure to see ‘stronger business matching numbers’ due to an expanded program of networking events along with the premiere of areas dedicated to the components, lottery and integrated casino resorts verticals.
“A large part of G2E Asia’s success stems from our continual pursuit to better understand our customers and the market,” read a statement from Lee. “We ask and we listen to further enhance gaming exhibitor experience while helping them to better meet and hopefully exceed their goals and return on investment.”
