What is GGMasters?
For those who may be unfamiliar with GGMasters, it is a brand used by GGPoker to represent its high profile online poker tournaments. The tournament was originally created with the help of poker pro and GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu.
Once the event gained ground, the online poker platform decided to expand the brand and started to offer even more guaranteed action each week. Players had a nice selection of gaming options, with most offering the traditional hold’em format. As new events were created for GGMasters, the Player of the Year Leaderboard was born.
Players who are able to cash in during a GGMasters event will earn leaderboard points. Those who make the final table and finish at the top of the event will earn even more points.
This year, the GGMasters will be more inclusive and not focus solely on high-profile events. There is a Daily GGMasters that will take place with a $25 buy-in. These tournaments run each day, Monday to Saturday. The event has a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 and offers satellite feeders at just $3.
There is another affordable event players can compete in on Sundays this year. The $150 GGMasters will take place each afternoon and offer a huge $500,000 prize pool guarantee. Players can try to win a seat at this event for just $1.50.
