November 15th is the official opening date for the new hotel currently under construction at the Graton Resort & Casino of California. The hotel will feature 200 guest rooms and officials of the casino state they have already taken hundreds of reservations in anticipation of the hotel’s opening, with the first reservation taken about a month ago.

The hotel had a price tag of $175 million and is located on the south side of the casino venue. The hotel will not only include 200 guest rooms but also a 10,000 square foot spa and fitness center. Event space is included on-site of 20,000 square feet as well as a large outdoor swimming pool. Guests of the hotel will be able to reserve rooms ranging in size from 500 square feet to 2,600 square feet. Rates start at $399 a night for the weekday and $499 for the weekend.

The Graton Resort & Casino is owned by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria and was opened in 2013. With no hotel on site, the casino had to partner with hotels locally to offer lodging for patrons. The new hotel on-site will now serve the casino well and be the fourth-largest in Sonoma County.

The casino will be looking to hire individuals to work in the new hotel in such positions as the front office, housekeeping and concierge service. The spa will also need employees along with other areas of the new facility. The casino plans on hosting a job fair for these positions and already held one in regards to the casino venue for additional dealers for table games.
