Looking to repeat the success it had with Stockholm-headquartered Betsson Group and its StarCasino brand across Italy back in 2020, slots and table game provider Habanero Systems has now expanded its footprint in the Baltics after launching with Betsafe, an online casino and bookmaker owned by the Swedish company.
One of the operator group’s flagship brands, Betsafe, in addition to sportsbook and in-play betting, has a broad range of iGaming products including casino, live casino, horseracing, virtual sports and poker, available to its players in the Baltics. And now, courtesy of the new deal, the online gaming operator is able to add a selection of Habanero’s player-favorite titles to its impressive games lobby in local languages.
As mentioned, the new arrangement builds on an already established partnership deal between Betsson Group and Habanero, which at the time, integrated all 56 of the latter’s Italian certified slot and table titles with StarCasino via iSoftBet’s Game Aggregation Platform (GAP). Since going live in March 2020, the partnership has gone from “strength-to-strength” in Italy.
Initially, that deal saw hit releases such as Jump! and Egyptian Dreams go live with the online operator, with titles such as Wild Trucks, Hot Hot Fruit and Loony Blox eventually added.
Repeat wish:
Arcangelo Lonoce, Head of Business Development Europe for Habanero, commented on the recent deal, saying…
“At Habanero, we are all about working with the best of the best and given our fantastic success with Betsson and StarCasino across Italy, we look to emulate this success again with Betsafe in the Baltics.”
Lonoce goes on to say that they are “so thrilled” to see their products added to Betsafe’s offering, and hope that they will be able to assist the operator in “attracting multiple demographics of players” with their “fantastic range of games.” And they “look forward to plenty more years of expansion together across multiple new markets.”
Baltic and CCE regions:
In addition to its widespread success in Italy, Betsson Group’s alliance with Habanero now extends to the Baltic region and beyond, across Central and Eastern Europe countries (CEE), with the most recent deal demonstrating the “excellent relationship” between the two companies.
Earlier this year, the global supplier further strengthened its position in Italy after partnering with one of Europe’s leading iGaming operators, Snaitech, for the latter’s online interest, Snai.it. Popular titles such as the magician-inspired Presto and Four Divine Beasts.
Since securing its Critical Gaming Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) in January 2021, Habanero maintained its tier-one expansion effort last year, inking a series of deals with leading global operator brands such as Lithuanian operator 7bet, while also obtaining new accreditation from Buenos Aires City regulator LOTBA for the Argentinian market and making its Paraguayan debut with the country’s leading operator, Slots del Sol.
