Hard Rock International hired Barclays as its financial advisor, Greenberg Traurig, P.A. as its legal advisor and Fox Rothschild, LLP as its special gaming counsel to complete the acquisition while BREF HR, LLC hired Debevoise & Plimpton LLP as its legal counsel.
This acquisition will now enable Hard Rock Sioux City to open up a Hard Rock Café and will also give the property access to the vast inventory of Hard Rock International’s music collection which has more than 81,000 unique memorabilia and is officially the world’s most iconic and largest collection. The Hard Rock Sioux City property has a 30, 000 square foot gaming floor, a Hard Rock-branded hotel with 60 rooms, a number of food and beverage facilities and a live entertainment venue. And if one of our guests wants to visit one of our more than 200 sister properties around the globe, we will make the introduction.”
The acquisition will allow Hard Rock International to exclusively own, develop, license, manage and franchise all Hotel-Casinos and Hard Rock Casinos overseas which includes Brazil, Venezuela, Australia, Israel and British Columbia. The acquisition also gives Hard Rock International control over Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, Oklahoma; Hard Rock Casino Vancouver and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
