Studio City, a property located in the Cotai district of Macau, offers visitors a plethora of entertainment options, including a casino and unique attractions. It was recently announced that the property’s House of Magic show is no longer in operation, meaning one less attraction is on offer to visitors.
According to GGRAsia, The House of Magic show held their last performance this past Sunday and the official website of Studio City is no longer promoting the show. On Monday, a note was provided by Brokerage Sanford C. Bernstein Ltd which reported that the show had closed. Analysts stated that the venue was not successful and Melco Resorts and Entertainment Ltd, the operator of Studio City, is looking to reposition sections of the property. A replacement for The House of Magic has yet to be announced.
Franz Harary, a magician from America, designed The House of Magic, where entertainers would perform within a 300-seat theater. The larger theater was then complemented by smaller venues.
When visiting Studio City, guests have the option to enjoy many attractions of the non-gaming variety such the Ferris wheel, Warner Bros. Fun Zone and Batman Dark Flight, a virtual reality ride experience, all of which are still offered.
