The 2017 iGaming Super Show will be held 11-14 July at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Super Show is the biggest conference and exhibition in the world dedicated solely to the iGaming industry and is expected to attract about 4,500 delegates from over 100 different countries.
With July fast approaching, those interested are being urged to not let the time slip by as this year’s registrations are currently tracking about 15% higher than those for the 2016 show. That trend has been seen in other iGaming shows this year signaling another advance in the industry overall.
Those attending can expect to find a well-balanced mix participants with around 35% being operators, 32% affiliates, and 285 vendors. The show expects about 3% of visitors to be in the media and regulators to fill out the final 2%. That mix represents the entire industry well.
There are eight events planned for the 2017 edition covering dedicated payments, sports betting, lottery, regulation, and compliance, along with financial and affiliate events.
The premiere event will be held in July rather than late May or June and has found a new home at the RAI with the new official hotel being the Ramada Apollo next to Rembrandt Park. Shuttle service will be provided.
Shona ODonnell, Event Director at iGaming Business said: “Previously the iGaming Super Show has taken place late May or early June – meaning that every second year we were isolating everyone in the industry that works in the sports betting sector.
“The move to July means that we have found a permanent ‘home’ for the iGaming Super Show. The event has always been a place where everyone in the industry could gather to do business, and it was important to us that we were not holding an event over an extremely busy period for a lot of our delegates.”
The decision to move from the comfortable and familiar Novotel Hotel, which had been home to delegates for years, was not easy but increased attendance mandated the move. For those who prefer not to change accommodations this year, rooms will still be available at the Novotel.
“The Ramada is slightly further out, but we will be running shuttle buses from the hotel to the conference venue,” said ODonnell.
