Online and mobile casino games supplier and aggregator iSoftBet has agreed a major content deal with gaming and gambling company Gauselmann Group. Under the partnership agreement, iSoftBet will provide its top-quality online gaming content to the operator’s Merkur Spiel brand throughout Germany’s iGaming market.
Players in the Western European country will now be able to enjoy popular titles such as the mining-inspired Gold Digger, the award-winning flagship video slot of the year, Moriarty Megaways, and Majestic Gold Megaways. The latter was released on December 8, 2021, and like its African-themed predecessor, Majestic Megaways, and the addition to the Twisted Tales game series, also incorporates the wildly successful game engine on loan from Australian developer Big Time Gaming (BTG).
Confident in German market:
Commenting on the partnership, Markus Ettlin, Management Spokesperson for Merkur, said they are “pleased to add top-quality online gaming content from iSoftBet” to their growing slot games portfolio.
Ettlin explains that iSoftBet “offers a strong range of gaming titles and innovative game mechanics which we know work well in Germany like Gold Digger, Majestic Megaways™ and Mighty Stallion Hold & Win. These will enhance the Merkur Spiel brand for our loyal players to enjoy.”
According to iSoftBet, the content deal offers “significant reach” throughout Germany’s emerging iGaming market, which came into effect on July 1st, 2021, courtesy of the New State Treaty on Gambling (GluNeuRStV), as it continues to “prioritize expansion” in regulated jurisdictions around the world.
Key market growth:
The agreement adds to iSoftBet’s commercial success, with Merkur Casino being an established presence in regulated territories worldwide. Currently active in 21 jurisdictions, the London-headquartered supplier continues its expansion effort in key markets, including recently inked agreements with Prague-headquartered iGaming supplier and software aggregator, Slotegrator, Italy-based platform provider, Octavian Lab, LeoVegas, and Jokerstar in Germany.
Federica Faggiano, Chief Commercial Officer at iSoftBet, also commented on the major content deal via a company blog, saying…
“We’ve made a commitment to partnering with leading operators in major emerging markets and none are more well-known than Gauselmann Group and its Merkur Spiel brand.
“Our products have already been well received in Germany, and this is another important step for iSoftBet as we look to push our global presence.”
New Jackpot Tool:
In addition to the aforementioned partnership with Slotegrator, the provider also recently launched its new Jackpot Tool, which allows operators to customize and jackpot type on any of iSoftBet’s games alongside over 8,000 third-party titles to make offerings more diverse and enhance the player experience.
According to iSoftBet, during phase one of the launch, its “flagship, data-driven, customisable player engagement solution” has significantly boosted player engagement, having generated 35 percent more spins on games utilizing the tool vs those games without it. There was also a reported 350 percent uptick in bets and a 150 percent swell in active players.
Andrew Bonnici, Chief Product Officer for iSoftBet, said at the time that just creating games isn’t enough anymore and that players today “demand amazing experiences” and the Jackpot Tool, together with their suite of advanced player engagement solutions, “significantly elevates and enhances operator offerings and the customer experience.”
