Today at 5pm in Las Vegas, Palms Casino Resort will begin to showcase a collection of new entertainment venues and restaurants, along with a completely transformed casino floor and property-wide contemporary art program. It’s all part of the $620 million reimagination of the resort property that has been ongoing since last year.

In celebration of the property’s multi-phased renovation, Palms launched the ‘From Dust to Gold’ campaign today. The original campaign was conceptualized and created by AKQA Portland and New York and was designed to destroy the old and create the new.

According to Palms staff, a soft launch begins at 5pm Pacific tonight and includes the opening of the Center Bar where a special piece of artwork will be revealed. In addition, at midnight the Apex Social Club will open on the 55th floor of the Palms Casino Resort, and complimentary champagne will flow at the west end of the property near the 120-seat Race & Sportsbook.

Palms General Manager, Jon Gray, said, “With the kickoff of our ‘From Dust to Gold’ campaign, we are giving a nod to our heritage, showing off everything that is shiny and new, and providing you a preview of the many incredible things to come at Palms.

“Taking the vision we provided for the property, AKQA Portland and New York, along with Prettybird and Paul Hunter, have created a visual masterpiece that truly captures the evolution of our brand and inspires guests to come experience our completely reimagined property,” said Gray, according to the news release.
