From March 19-30, online poker players located in Nevada and New Jersey can take part in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Silver Legacy Online Circuit Series. The series is one of several events the WSOP has hosted in 2021 and this time around, players are competing for over $1.3 million in total prize money.
The kickoff event of the series recently finished up and it was Jared Jaffee who earned the first-place win. With the title, Jaffee now has earned three gold WSOP Circuit rings!
Details of the Event
Event #1 of the Silver Legacy was an NLH Big $500. The popular format event featured a $75,000 prize pool and saw 179 players competing. A total of 114 re-buys took place, creating 293 total entries. With so many entries, the tournament pushed its prize pool to just over $136,000. The top 42 players would cash out.
Jaffee was able to earn the win after taking down Zach Epstein (thepepster5) in heads-up play. For his efforts, Jaffee would earn just over $27,000 while Epstein earned just over $20,000. It was Jaffee’s second WSOP Circuit ring in one month after he took down the WSOP Planet Hollywood Circuit Event #1. He also earned over $23,000 for that poker win, and of course, the gold ring!

Silver Legacy Online Circuit Continues
From now through March 30, the Silver Legacy schedule will include one daily event with a gold ring up for grabs. There are several events still left to play including the Main Event and the High Roller. The Main Event will have a buy-in of $525 and feature a $300,000 prize pool. It takes place on March 28.
The High Roller tournament is a 6-max event that will take place on March 30. The event has a $1,000 buy-in and features $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. Both events should be pretty popular among players in the series, especially the Main Event.
Another option taking place during Silver Legacy is the $10,000 Series Leaderboard. Players will earn points while playing in the series and those points help to dictate who wins part of the prize pool. There is also a $25,000 freeroll that players can qualify for.
The series has been popular thus far and is just one of many options the WSOP is offering this year online as the United States continues to deal with the coronavirus.
