American casino and hotel operator Hard Rock International has announced that experienced industry executive Jeffrey Hook (pictured) has been promoted to serve as its new Development and Marketing Executive Vice-President.
In a Monday press release, Orlando-headquartered Hard Rock International stated that Hook will now work to develop and expand its Hard Rock Casinos brand globally with the notable exception of Asia where these duties are to remain the responsibility of the firm’s Asia Chief Executive Officer, Ed Tracy.
Hard Rock International explained that Hook most recently served as its Business Development and Marketing Senior Vice-President after being hired in 2008 to work as Marketing Senior Vice-President for its Seminole Gaming counterpart and its own Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood properties.
Owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida since 2007, Hard Rock International declared that Hook’s career moreover includes time spent in ‘leadership positions’ with Boyd Gaming Corporation, MGM Resorts International and the former Harrah’s Entertainment Incorporated.
Hard Rock International currently operates a portfolio of cafes, hotels and casinos in 75 countries including venues in the iconic cities of San Francisco, London, New York and Sydney. The company’s gaming portfolio moreover encompasses establishments in San Diego, Bali, Ibiza, Cancun and Las Vegas while it soon intends to open similar properties in Berlin, Atlantic City, Budapest and the Chinese metropolis of Haikou.
