As it looks to increase its global presence, insurance-backed business-to-business online gambling platform developer RISQ Capital Limited has announced that Julian Borg-Barthet (pictured) has been hired to serve as its new Business Development Director.
London-headquartered RISQ Capital Limited revealed that Borg-Barthet was recruited from NMi Gaming, which was recently acquired by larger rival Gaming Laboratories International, where he had risen through the ranks to eventually become the compliance testing and auditing firm’s Business Development Director in 2011.
Tom Mitchell, Business-to-Business Director for RISQ Capital Limited, used an official Wednesday press release to declare that he is ‘delighted’ that Borg-Barthet has joined his firm’s ranks before describing the new recruit’s business development and sales contacts and experience as ‘second to none’.
“We feel sure he’ll be a true asset to both RISQ Capital Limited and all our clients as we bid to broaden our global footprint,” read the June 27 statement from Mitchell.
RISQ Capital Limited stated that Borg-Barthet will now work to build its reputation around the world while paying special attention to land-based, online and lottery strategies and sales. He is to moreover be responsible for handling existing clients, which include the likes of prominent iGaming operators William Hill, GVC Holdings and Jackpotjoy, and spearheading the firm’s expansion into international markets.
“I’ve always based my business relationships on the ability to add value,” read a statement from Borg-Barthet. “Working with RISQ Capital Limited, I’ve not only found a string of products that complement the different sides of the gaming industry but also a strong and experienced team that are client-focused and eager to tailor their offering to make it work for the customer.”
