In South Korea, the nation’s only casino accessible to locals has reportedly announced that it will be discontinuing credit card cash lending services from Friday as part of a move to create a healthier gambling environment.

According to a report from Asia Gaming Brief, the decision by Kangwon Land Casino was revealed on Monday and is to impact all short-term lending facilities including credit card and cash loan services.

Kangwon Land Casino is located in rural Gangwon Province and offers a selection of 960 slots as well as 100 gaming tables. Asia Gaming Brief reported that the coming move is not set to affect any of the venue’s current deposit and withdrawal services.
