Leading online gambling operator, Kindred Group (KINDSDB:Stockholm), recently held an official opening event for the relocation of its St Julians and Gzira offices into a contemporary office space located at Tigné Point, Malta. From the new office space, the company will reportedly maintain the development and growth of its business, working towards becoming the top operator market wide.
According to the press release, 400 employees from Kindred’s previous offices in Gzira and St Julians, will share the new Tigné Point digs. The move offers the company’s employees a great new experience and working environment reflective of its strong culture.
Covering a space of 5,200 square meters (55,972 square feet), the new office spans three floors and overlooks the Mediterranean. The space allows for more than 500 desks and has 47 meeting rooms complete with the most up-to-date AV technology to enable effective teamwork across the company’s eleven offices. Employees will reportedly have access to complimentary meals, yoga classes, as well as games and various other recreational activities.
Chief Executive Officer for Kindred Group, Henrik Tjärnström, said in the press release, ”I am delighted that we have finally been able to gather all our Malta-based employees in this impressive new office at Tigne Point. Over the past years, the Malta-based company has grown significantly and currently employs approximately 1,400 people, about 400 of which are based on the Southern European island country. Kindred reportedly expects to grow that number so that it may accommodate its current growth.
Kindred relocated to the new Tigné Point office on May 28 and on June 12 held an official opening event at which Kindred brand ambassadors, Esa Tikkanen and Mika Häkkinen, were present. Retired Finnish professional ice hockey forward, Tikkanen, is a five-time Stanley Cup champion while Häkkinen, a Finnish former professional racing driver, is a two-time Formula One World Champion.
