Online casino games and systems provider Kiron Interactive has announced that it is set to expand its global reach after being awarded with a multi-year Class II license by the regulating authority in Romania.
Established in 2001, Kiron Interactive stated that the license from the Oficiul National Pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) regulator means that it can now begin distributing its suite of some 20 virtual sports and numbers games to online operators in Romania.
Johannesburg-based Kiron Interactive declared that ONJN was set up in 2015 following the passage of liberalization legislation and serves as the regulator for all forms of online and land-based gambling in Romania.
“We are thrilled to have been awarded a permanent license by the regulator and it is fantastic news that our suite of virtual sports and number games will now be available to Romanian customers,” read a statement from Steven Spartinos, Chief Executive Officer for Kiron Interactive. “Gaining this license underlines our immense progress as the industry’s leading provider of virtual products and we are excited to develop our product line in the country’s regulated market.”
