Following the news that the hotel-casino was half built last October, it was recently announced that the official opening date for the newest casino project by the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma tribe, dubbed the LakeCrest Casino Hotel, is April 24 of this year, according to the Facebook page of the hotel-casino. Additionally, the location of the fresh establishment is Lake Murray close to Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Summary of features that the hotel-casino will be equipped with:

The hotel-casino will spread over 70,000 square meters of space, and its casino section will involve 8 table games such as blackjack and Texas Hold’em, 1,000 Class II slot machines, 1,000 electronic gaming machines, a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop. As for the hotel portion, it will involve an RV park, conference rooms, a resort-style pool and eighty-nine rooms.

As for the site, it is approximately 10 miles away from Ardmore and two miles east of I-35 exit 29 on State Highway 70. However, the upcoming LakeCrest Casino Hotel has also covered retail purposes in the form of the Oasis Boutique, which provides a range of clothing and gifts.

Even though the date for the official opening has been released, special grand opening plans haven’t. Additional details are scheduled to be released later this week, according to the source.

Relatedly, four years ago, in October 2020, the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) officially validated the tribe’s proposal to place the intended territory for the casino into a federal trust specifically for gambling purposes.

West Bay Casino and Resort – another casino managed by the tribe:

West Bay Casino and Resort was officially opened on May 2, with Governor Anoatubby officiating the ribbon-cutting ceremonies. It is located along the picturesque shore of Lake Texoma.

Constructed on the state of the previous Lake Texoma State Lodge, the aforementioned casino and resort includes a deluxe three-story hotel equipped with 40 rooms with state-of-the-art amenities and meeting and recreation space, an outdoor pool, gift shop, restaurant and business and fitness center.

In addition, a casino and 10 well-equipped cabins are involved in the development of the casino resort. Every cabin includes a fireplace, a full-service kitchen and a roomy common living room. Something that will interest future visitors is that the venue offers amazing views of Lake Texoma and the legendary Roosevelt Bridge that links Bryan and Marshall counties.

Furthermore, the aforementioned study also roughly calculated that this new casino-resort would collect almost $58 million in its 1st year of operation.
