This year’s SiGMA exhibition is due to return to the island nation of Malta later this month with the extravaganza revealing that it is once again set to recognize some of the online gambling industry’s best and brightest via the third annual staging of the Malta iGaming Awards.
iGaming spectacular:
The 2018 edition of SiGMA is set to take place from November 28 to 30 at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’Qali and it stated that the event is expected to welcome in excess of 12,500 visitors from over 80 nations. It declared that attendees will be able to check out the sector’s latest and most popular advances while taking part in a plethora of special conferences and workshops featuring more than 200 knowledgeable speakers.
Kicking off in style:
To get things underway, the show explained that the co-located Malta iGaming Awards is due to be held on the evening of November 27 and give some 1,000 of the online gaming industry’s most significant and innovative personalities a place to network, celebrate and take part in a charitable auction featuring several works by Polish artist Sylwia Pacura. It detailed that the revelers are also set to be joined by the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, and be treated to a performance by internationally-acclaimed opera singer Joseph Calleja.

Following the completion of a sumptuous meal prepared by some of the best chefs in Malta, SiGMA announced that attendees will be able to sit back and relax as 25 Malta iGaming Awards accolades are handed out to those with a ‘strong connection’ to the Mediterranean nation of some 476,000 people. It revealed that these gongs are due to span numerous industry categories and include the Corporate Social Responsibility, Mobile Gaming Provider, Slots Program, Affiliate Software and Crypto Payments Solution prizes.

SiGMA explained that nominations for its Malta iGaming Awards remain open for a limited time before revealing that those wishing to take part in the festivities are still able to book either an individual seat or an entire table.
