For more than a decade, PKR was a popular independent poker site offering quality online poker gaming in a unique 3D format. After ten years in the industry, the company joined forces with the Microgaming Poker Network only to ask to be removed from the network days ago due to what the online poker company called ‘financial difficulties’. More information has now been provided on the matter by Microgaming, which includes the fact that PKR has hired administrators.
According to a press release, Microgaming has confirmed that on May 11th, the High Court, Chancery Division has appointed two individuals of RSM Restructuring Advisory LLP to act as Joint Administrators for PKR Ltd and PKR Technologies Limited. Both David R. Taylor and Matthew R.M. Wild will be acting as administrators for the online poker company.
Any inquiries related to the companies mentioned above should be addressed to the Joint Administrators including inquiries from players who hold accounts at PKR as well as creditors. The Administrators can be contacted via email at the following address: pkr.restructuring@rsmuk.com
More information is expected to be released in the future on the PKR website. Because Microgaming plays the role as creditor, they will continue to provide information to the public as it is made available. Questions and Answers can be found at the blog of MPN here: https://www.mpn.poker/blog/pkr/.
