Swedish online casino software developer NetEnt has expanded its partnership with DraftKings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG) in keeping with its plan to increase its presence in the U.S.
After in late August 2019 premiering a broad selection of its video slots and table games with the Boston-based sports betting company in New Jersey’s regulated market, the enhanced collaboration will soon see the developer’s premium offering delivered to the operator’s fast-growing online casino in Pennsylvania.
“DraftKings’ size and market presence make this launch one of the most significant to date.”
The Stockholm-headquartered firm has also signed an agreement to take its games live with DraftKings in the U.S. state of West Virginia, with expansion into new jurisdictions upon successful launch.
Eastern U.S. market share:
This isn’t NetEnt’s first time entering the eastern U.S. state’s newly-regulated market, having partnered with GVC Group and MGM Resorts-backed iGaming operator BetMGM in September. That deal marked the first time the company’s content will be available in the West Virginia market, which approved iGaming on July 15, 2020.
Thanks to the latest agreement, players in the two eastern U.S. states will soon gain access to a multitude of popular titles such as Divine Fortune, Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst, as well as various NetNet table games.
Significant launch:
Commenting on the enhanced partnership, Vice President Commercial, Americas, Brian Kraft said in a company press release…
“DraftKings’ size and market presence make this launch one of the most significant to date.
“We’re proud to expand our relationship with such a well-known operator and look forward to continuing the success that we’ve achieved together so far. We are thrilled to have such a renowned operator on board as we enter new jurisdictions.”
Boasting a “globally esteemed portfolio,” NetEnt has, since its launch in July 2019, become a top supplier in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where it was granted an iGaming license by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) via its NetEnt Americas LLC U.S. subsidiary in March 2019.
The latest agreements with DraftKings further establishes the supplier’s reputation as a leader in the market as more U.S. states eye legalizing online gaming.
Live casino vertical:
Meanwhile, on the European front, after completing technical integration, NetEnt’s live casino games have been made available to players with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino. The Scandinavian nation’s biggest operators now have access to the provider’s Auto Roulette Studio, Blitz Blackjack, and Perfect Blackjack games, increasing NetEnt’s presence in the live casino market.
