From September 3rd to the 24th, online poker room partypoker will be offering members the chance to compete in the popular series known as Powerfest. This year’s event will include 330 tournaments with a total of $35 million in guaranteed prize money up for grabs.

Powerfest is the online poker tournament series created by partypoker that was first known as Pokerfest. The series changed to Powerfest in February of last year and offered $5 million in prize money guaranteed. The series has continued to up the ante each and every go round with this edition offering a massive amount of prize money.

Everyone can participate in the Powerfest as the events range in buy-in from $5.50 to $25,500. There are events for the amateur player who wants to spend a few dollars to the high roller who is all in with tens of thousands on the line. There are also satellites on offer to ensure that players have the ability to earn a seat to the larger events without breaking the bank trying to afford the higher buy-ins.

For the September Powerfest, partypoker will be offering 12 Championship events. Ten of these events will offer a minimum of $1 million in prize money. Certain Championship events will be multi-phased tournaments which will see players competing in multiple Phase 1s or directly buying in to the final day of game play.

A new event is found the scheduled, strictly for the females. On the 24th, partypoker’s Powerfest will feature the $109 Ladies Event. The tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000 and will be open to ladies only.
