In Canada, July has seen two record-setting payouts totaling more than CA$2.2m courtesy of multinational gaming company, International Game Technology’s (IGT) (NYSE:IGT), Powerbucks, omni-channel, interprovincial jackpot link.

The first record-setting jackpot was delivered via a subsidiary of Loto-Québec, Société des casinos du Québec’s, Espacejeux, a government website, on July 17, 2017. While playing the Powerbucks-linked Crown of Egypt game, one lucky individual won a CA$1,000,000 jackpot; the largest ever for the website.

Just one week later on July 24, the freshly minted Espacejeux jackpot record was again shattered when a wager placed on the site was won by another lucky person playing the same IGT Powerbucks Crown of Egypt game. This time, however, the jackpot was CA$1,222,069, making IT the largest ever to be won on the site.

IGT is a multinational gaming company that produces slot machines and other gaming technology. The London-based company delivers products and services gaming operators spanning 100 countries on six continents.
