After being forced to shut down when its license expired in August of last year, PhilWeb Corp. is now back in action. The company was given the go-ahead to become a service provider after being reinstated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR).

According to, Philstar reported that the company has been given the approval to become a service provider of Electronic Gaming Systems after PAGCOR provided the company with the Provisional Certificate of Accreditation. With the certification, PhilWeb will be able to offer software and additional service options to operators who are licensed by PAGCOR.

Valdes stated that PhilWeb is grateful for Chairman Domingo and the Board of Directors of PAGCOR for having faith in their company and giving them the opportunity to deliver services to operators of electronic gaming once again.
