Online casino games developer, Play‘n Go, has announced the signing of an agreement that is set to see a selection of its video slots utilized by the Svenska Spel Sport and Casino service from Sweden’s state-owned gambling operator, Svenska Spel AB.

Significant signing:

The innovator used an official Tuesday press release to describe its newest partner as ‘one of Sweden’s largest gaming companies’ and that the recent supply deal forms part of its larger expansion plan for Scandinavia.

Quick reaction:

Johan Tornqvist, Chief Executive Officer for Play‘n Go, declared that his firm ‘has wasted no time in making the most of the opportunities that Sweden now presents after it began launching its video slots into the nation immediately after January 1 saw the debut of a regulated online casino and sportsbetting market. He moreover stated that his company had signed similar deals with ‘several operators within the region’ over the course of the previous three months and that this new alliance serves as ‘continued proof’ of the firm’s ‘stellar brand reputation within the industry.’

Tornqvist’s statement read…

“At Play’n Go we pride ourselves on working with the best in the industry and this partnership with Svenska Spel Sport and Casino illustrates that. It is a hugely respected entity in the Swedish market and has already gained a substantial portion of the online casino market since adding casino games to its offering. To be working with it and entertaining its audience is a great step forward for us and for Sweden.”

Expanding entertainment:

For its part, Svenska Spel has inked analogous agreements with the likes of Maltese developer, Pragmatic Play Limited, since the start of the year while its Casino Vice-President, Jonas Nygren, used the press release to proclaim that Play‘n Go has a reputation for ‘producing engaging and enjoyable content’ that provides online casino players ‘with first-rate entertainment.’

Nygren’s statement read…

“Adding top-quality games to our offering here at Svenska Spel Sport and Casino is a high priority for us so a partnership with Play‘n Go made perfect sense.”
