From August 23-31, PokerGO is hosting the Super High Roller Bowl in Europe. The series will take place at the Merit Royal Hotel Casino & Spa, marking the first time the series takes place in the country since COVID-19 began last year. There are nine total events on the schedule, with buy-ins starting at a whopping $25,000.
Details of the Series
The Super High Roller Bowl will consist of two formats: No-Limit Hold’em and Short Deck Hold’em. An event will run each day with buy-ins of $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, or $250,000. The Main Event has the largest buy-in and is expected to be a big draw among professional players.
The Main Event will run for three days and is expected to see one of the largest poker turnouts during the Bowl. The action will be intense as the best of the best hit the felt in order to see who can bring home the first-place finish.
The five-star Merit Royal Hotel Casino & Spa is offering free rooms to players who are competing in the events with a buy-in of $100,000 or more. This is a nice perk for those who have the cash to compete in the larger events of the series.
President of Merit Poker, Songul Bekem, is ready to host the event, stating that the operator is thrilled to welcome the series this August.
“This series will be unlike anything we have ever offered before and we’re incredibly honored to take part in the next chapter in Super High Roller Bowl history.”
Events Will Be Live Streamed
PokerGO is known for streaming live footage of major events and the European Super High Roller Bowl will be no exception. The events will be streamed, allowing fans to get an inside look at the talent in North Cyprus during the series.
Mori Eskandani, Poker Hall of Fame member and PokerGO President, commented that the Super High Roller Bowl events represent the highest level of competition in poker and features star players, along with large buy-ins. Poker fans are invited to watch the action on PokerGO as it goes down.
PokerGO has also teamed up with Luxon Pay for the series, an international payments partner. The multi-currency eWallet does not charge customers any fees to deposit or withdraw and offers services in more than 120 countries.
Players who take part in the Super High Roller Bowl and pay in a certain amount to compete, will be given a Luxon Pay Premium membership as part of the series.
