While many are ready to see 2020 end already, online poker room PokerStars has decided to end the year on a high note. The site has just announced the new Blowout Series, featuring 88 total events, with $60 million in total guaranteed prize money up for grabs.

The series begins on December 27 and players can take part through January 19. Low, Medium, and High tiers have been added to ensure that players of all bankrolls can compete. Buy-ins start at just $2.20 and there are also ways to win tournament tickets at the site!

Huge Blowout Events

The schedule is filled with many value-filled events, but perhaps the most popular among players will be the Big Blowout events taking place each Sunday. On December 27, the series kicks off with a $109 Big Blowout featuring an NLHE 8-Max format. This event offers $5 million in total prize money.

On January 10, the series offers another Big Blowout, this time with a $10,300 buy-in. This event is also an NLHE 8-Max format and offers the big $5 million prize pool. Log in on January 3 and pay $5,200 to compete in another Big Blowout with $5 million up for grabs.

The last Big Blowout is scheduled at PokerStars for January 17. This event has a $1,050 buy-in and features a PLO 8-Max format. The guaranteed prize pool is $5 million.

If you are looking for major value, be sure to take part in the New Year’s Bash, on January 1. This online poker event has a low buy-in of $11 and features a $2 million prize pool!

Satellites Running Now

For players who want to try their hand at earning a seat via satellite, there are plenty of options available now in the PokerStars client. Simply log in and check the client for details. Options are running on a pretty continual basis, making it easy for players to find an option.

With the satellites, players can earn a spot in Blowout events for far less than the buy-in, making it easier to compete in medium or high-level events at no extra cost!

December Freeroll Series

The Big Blowout will take place soon after the December Freeroll Series at PokerStars. The series kicks off this weekend and will offer freeroll action, plus additional events in the future. This Sunday, players are competing for $5,000 in prize money!
