In what is sure to be another hit, online casino software provider Pragmatic Play has launched the latest installment in its Reel Kingdom portfolio via Cash Elevator, an immersive game with a max win potential of 20,000x.
Played on a 5-reel, 3-row game grid, the high volatility video slot challenges players to make it to the 13th floor of a hotel that looks to be straight out of Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem, The Raven.
Riding the elevator:
The effort to reunite two dead lovers, one a bellboy and the other a leggy brunette, across 20 paylines begins on the first floor, moving up and down through 13 available stages. Players who make it to the floor, which due to superstition doesn’t exist in most hotels, will reap the rewards via a trip on the iron-barred elevator that is flanked by a pair of ravens.
As for the game’s symbols, low pays comprise 9-A card values, with steamer trunks, a pocket watch, an antique rotary phone, a black cat in the moonlight, a vintage automobile, and a skeleton key. The premiums pay between 5 and 50 times the stake when five of a kind land in a line.
Game features:
Playable on any device, wins hit when between three to five of the same symbol lands adjacently from the first reel. In the base game, players advance from the first floor to the 13th when an upward-facing arrow lands on the middle reel. However, just as the elevator can take you up toward the 13th-floor, which triggers the Hold and Spin feature, descending to level 0 sets the Basement round in motion.
An Expanded Wild covering an entire reel triggers the extra spins mode, which promptly closes the elevator doors delivering its riders to the 13th floor. The Dead Lovers Bonus round offers players an “interactive choice” which reveals the number of extra spins granted.
As the challenge in the online slot game continues, both the zombie-like bellboy and the fancy lady serve as moving wilds during the bonus round. The two lovers fill a full reel and change positions as wins happen, and move toward each other for extra spins and big wins.
Triggering the Hold and Spin feature takes players to a random floor in the old hotel where they are given four respins to locate coins, which can either have a monetary value, a multiplier attached, or a Money Symbol that has an assigned fixed value based on the floor the player is on.
Diversity key:
Using a company press release, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play, Yossi Barzely explained the importance of “creating diverse slots that appeal to all players,” and that its partnership with Reel Kingdom has allowed them to deliver “immersive, high volatility games that are very well received across the globe.”
“With numerous features, an engaging theme and huge win potential, we can’t wait to see how Cash Elevator is received by our fans,” Barzely said.
Cash Elevator joins the multi-product content provider’s fast-growing Reel Kingdom portfolio and follows the Asain-themed title, Floating Dragon Hold and Spin, each of which offers players action-packed and feature-filled adventure.
Just prior to the release of the new online slot, Pragmatic Play inked a pair of partnership agreements; one, a multiple vertical deal with leading LatAm iGaming operator Juega En Linea, the other with popular Kindred Group brand 32Red that will see the latter roll out the developer’s portfolio of iGaming content, including popular titles such as The Hand of Midas, and Book of Kingdoms and John Hunter and the Book of Tut.
Charitable initiative:
Most notably, the Gibraltar-headquartered provider donated €21,000 to an important project backed by The Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation, a Romanian non-governmental organization (NGO). The donation is to be used to renovate the 7th floor of the Clinical Institute Fundeni in Bucharest, which is dedicated to the children’s oncology section.
Founded in 2007, the NGO focuses on protecting children who have been separated from their parents and helping them to integrate into society. Most recently the foundation has focused on aiding public hospitals rehabilitate sections dedicated to children.
