Swedish online casino and sportsbetting operator Mr Green and Company AB has announced that Tuesday evening saw it take home the Rising Star in Sports Betting 2018 accolade from this year’s edition of the SBC Awards.
Proving its effectiveness:
The Stockholm-listed used an official Thursday press release to detail that it launched its first online sportsbetting service in 2016 and that the London prize is to serve as proof of the effectiveness of its differentiation and innovation capabilities in providing aficionados with ‘a superior experience.’
Mr Green operates across 13 jurisdictions and is responsible for iGaming sites such as MrGreen.com, MamaMiaBingo.com, Vinnarum.com, Redbet.com and Bertil.com. It holds licenses from authorities in countries including the United Kingdom, Malta, Denmark and Italy and detailed in mid-August that it had filed an application to add its home nation to this extensive list.
Sportsbetting revenues rise:
Per Norman, Chief Executive Officer for Mr Green and Co, declared that his firm has been adding ‘new, smart and intuitive widgets’ to its sites throughout the year in order to help online bettors find their favorite teams and sports while ‘making it more fun to play’. He used the operator’s late-October report on its third-quarter financial results (pdf) to explain that this strategy has been paying off as sportsbetting revenues for the three-month increased by some 439% year-on-year.
Norman’s statement read…
“We introduced several functions and improved the user-friendliness of our sportsbook ahead of the [2018 FIFA] World Cup this past summer. These initiatives have proven to be successful and our sportsbook is continuing to capture market shares. In the quarter, sportsbook revenues increased by 439% compared with the year-earlier period and are now close to 10% of total revenues.”
Green Gaming tool applauded:
Finally, Mr Green and Company AB stated that its Green Gaming predictive tool ‘was moreover highly commended’ at the recent SBC Awards. It proclaimed that this innovation utilizes a data-driven algorithm and player tests to present bettors with their own personalized risk assessment that the operator subsequently exploits to better customize its marketing communications.
