Swedish video slot innovator Quickspin has launched its latest title in the five-reel Sticky Bandits and is hoping that the HTML5-developed game will transport online casino players back time to the days of the American Wild West.

Now owned by Isle of Man-based Playtech, Quickspin stated that Sticky Bandits is themed around a pair of “dodgy desperadoes” that attempt to rob a runaway train in the “cacti-strewn canyons of the desert”.

“The game features massive wild symbols of the train heist villains with the bonus symbol and any wild symbol triggering a free spin bonus,” read a statement from Stockholm-based Quickspin. “Sticky Bandits features stunning graphics as well as a killer spaghetti western soundtrack.”

Established in 2011, Quickspin stated that the release of Sticky Bandits follows its recent premiere of the “hugely successful” Wins of Fortune title alongside its launch of video slots such as Sakura Fortune, Leprechaun Hills, Hot Sync, Phoenix Sun and Dragon Shrine.

“Sticky Bandits promises to be yet another smash hit taking players on a rollercoaster ride across the heart of the desert,” read a statement from Daniel Lindberg, Chief Executive Officer for Quickspin. “This cowboy-themed game is also the latest Quickspin [game] to feature our newly-launched Achievements Engine, a ground-breaking gamification module that has proven to be very popular with players.”

Quickspin explained that the Achievements Engine innovation was designed to offer players “a more entertaining and a more rewarding experience” by awarding tokens via free spins to aficionados that trigger one of six unique game events set across four levels.

“Players can track their progress as well as claim and collect their rewards on a designated page within each Quickspin slot,” read the statement from Quickspin.
