Foxwoods Resort Casino is further diversifying its entertainments offering after announcing that it has agreed to host the inaugural Revolution Rock Festival in partnership with sports and music presenter AEG Live.

Set to take place on September 17 sponsored by Monster Energy, the Connecticut area’s first-ever outdoor rock concert is set to feature rock acts including Slayer, Anthrax, Avenged Sevenfold, Volbeat, Chevelle, Of Mice And Men, Ghost, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust, The Amity Affliction, KYNG, Nothing More, Twelve Foot Ninja, Crobot and Devour The Day.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with entertainment powerhouse AEG Live to bring the Revolution Rock Festival to Mashantucket and Foxwoods Resort Casino,” Felix Rappaport, President and Chief Executive Officer for Foxwoods Resorts Casino, said in a statement. “Foxwoods Resorts Casino has been at the forefront of entertainment since we opened in 1992 and events like this festival will continue to make Foxwoods Resorts Casino the market leader.”

Owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, Foxwoods Resort Casino revealed that the all-day rock extravaganza will take place on land to the northwest of its Tanger Outlets At Foxwoods with tickets available from June 10.
