After successfully integrating with Mexico’s largest online gaming operator in the regulated market, Caliente, a selection of award-winning games from Swedish supplier of digitally distributed gaming systems, NetEnt, are reportedly now live and accessible in the Mexican operator’s online casino network in the federal republic.
In October, Stockholm-listed NetEnt AB (NETB) signed an agreement with Grupo Caliente for Mexico’s regulated online casino market. It was the second such agreement in the supplier’s effort to continue its global expansion on regulated markets.
Customer integration work began soon after, and the launch of games is reportedly to be communicated separately.
In the October news release, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, Björn Krantz, said: “I am very pleased that Caliente has selected us as a business partner for online casino. They are a true frontrunner in Mexico, and a major player within the regulated online gaming space. I am convinced that we can support them to drive online casino growth and to provide the best-in-class entertainment experience to their player community.”
After unveiling its Asgardian Stones title in late February, NetEnt recently revealed its latest video slot innovation, Hotline, that transports players ‘back to the 80s.’
In other NetEnt news, the company recently announced that it had decided to replace its CEO Per Eriksson, who has been with the company since March 2012.
